Story behind this painting: Sometimes we underestimate the power of our thoughts, yet they can make a real difference. They shape the direction we take in life, and we do have influence over them. That is why I find it so important to believe in ourselves. Even in moments of self-doubt, I want to encourage us to take one step forward. Each day, even if it is only a small step.
At the very least, our thoughts belong to us. And in that lies a freedom we can use to change our lives.
In this painting, I tried to capture “thoughts”—the way they can transcend reality, allowing us to imagine what is usually impossible. The painting also depicts the freedom I am referring to, showing a girl flying through the sky. A symbol of pure, profound freedom.
