This painting focusses on the feeling of safety.
Safety means comfort, trust and peace. Like in my painting, everyone of us
needs and deserves those feelings. When was the first time you really felt safe
and how did it feel for you? Maybe you even felt a fire inside you
arising. A fire that made you feel safe to speak, safe to show who you really
are and safe to let down your walls. My painting shows the child held in
safety, resting in a place of comfort. I wish for you to reach that place and
that feeling or maybe you already reached it? Each day, a small step forward.
